新春，随着时间的推移一步一步地在经历着不同的蜕变，就如同每一个我们，一生都在经历着变化，感受着世事无常。透过第十四届理大新春慈善庆典《属•悉》，筹委们希望让每一位来宾感受到蜕变的意义，了解生活中亲身经历的每一个变幻及更替，并为大家呈现一个别创新格的理大新春！
【Evolution】
As time goes by, Chinese New Year is undergoing evolutionary changes, just like every one of us has experienced different changes and felt impermanence throughout our lives. By this, we hope that everyone will feel the significance of evolution, experience and understand every change in life.
【归属】
归属，意味着一个属于每一位独一无二的避风港，是一份油然而生的熟悉感，而这一份熟悉的归属感能让人感到安心。归属是不以为意的，它能在不经意间带给您欢乐与满足。第十四届理大新春慈善庆典欲提倡与鼓励大家了解并寻找属于自己那独一无二的归属，一同寻获那一份被遗忘、简单且舒适的归属感！
【Belongingness】
Belonging means that everyone belongs to a unique haven. It is a familiar feeling. This familiarity leads to a sense of belonging. A sense of belonging and homecoming can bring happiness and satisfaction to you inadvertently. The USM 14th Chinese New Year Charity Gala Celebration is here to promote and encourage everyone to know more about the sense of belonging and find the simple yet comfortable destinations that have been forgotten.

季节更替，小种子昸昸在严峻及寒冷的冬季里勇敢地逐渐发芽及成长，并在春天来临之际冒出土壤长出了叶子，迎接春天的到来。这亦如同我们的主题概念 —— 蜕变。理大新春随着时间的推移，一步步地成长，同时也经历着不同的蜕变过程，但仍然坚持为大家呈现一个别创新格的理大新春！
昸昸身上的舞狮服是母亲一针一线亲手缝制的，以让昸昸在冬季及困境里能坚强勇敢地去面对一切挑战。这也是母亲对孩子的一份祝福及熟悉的温暖。这正符合了今届理大新春的核心价值 —— 归属。一份熟悉的归属感能为您带来勇气，也能让您倍感安心，让您在严峻的道路上继续前行。
The seasons changed and the tiny seed, Dong Dong grew bravely in piercing cold winter. Dong Dong emerged from the soil and came into leaf as spring approached. This brings out our theme concept —— Evolution. The USM Chinese New Year Charity Gala Celebration has undergone evolutionary changes as time goes by but will still insist on presenting you a unique The USM Chinese New Year Charity Gala Celebration!
The lion dance costume on Dong Dong was sewn by her mother, every stitch and curve, as to encourage Dong Dong to face the difficulties with courage. This is also a blessing and familiar warmth given by the mother to the child. This accords with the core value of The USM 14th Chinese New Year Charity Gala Celebration —— Belonging. A familiar sense of belonging gives you courage and peace of mind, motivating you to continue on the tough journey.
受益单位 BENEFICIARY UNIT
槟城大山脚柔府村
第十四届理大新春慈善庆典《属•悉》以坐落于槟城大山脚的柔府村为目标新村，而本届的受益单位则为柔府村里所需要帮助的孩子们。理大新春的团队决定捐赠100令吉援助金予30位需要帮助的孩子们。受益的孩子们皆来自低收入群体（B40），家庭每月收入低于2千800令吉。筹委们希望能借此机会帮助与减轻该家庭的经济负担。同时，理大中华文化艺术坊肩负着传承中华文化的使命，希望通过系列活动让新村的孩子了解中华文化的精髓，并持续把文化传承，让传承的使命拥有更深一层的意义。
The USM 14th Chinese New Year Charity Gala Celebration ‘A Familiar Glance’ set Kampung Juru which is located at Bukit Mertajam as targeted Chinese New Village, while the beneficiary unit of this year would be the children in need from Kampung Juru. Our team has decided to distribute RM100 to 30 children in need. Those children are from Bottom 40 (B40) in which the family income is less than RM2800 per month. Therefore, the board of committee of The USM 14th Chinese New Year Charity Gala Celebration 'A Familiar Glance' hopes that this action can help to reduce the burden of the children’s family. Besides, the mission of Chinese Arts and Cultural Secretariat of USM is to inherit the Chinese culture and to ensure that the children understand the importance of inheriting the Chinese culture. Therefore, by helping the children in need, the precious Chinese culture can be inherited at the same time.

The USM 14th Chinese New Year Charity Gala Celebration Event Series ‘A Nostalgic Tale’ is an exhibition dedicated to the culture of New Villages. The committee members had prepared a series of cultural activities about the New Villages to let the public feel the lively atmosphere of Chinese New Year back in New Villages. At the same time, this event series also actively promoted the culture of New Villages and enhanced public understanding of New Villages.
为了进一步地做好新型冠状病毒（COVID-19）疫情防控，阻止疫情继续蔓延，维护好群众的生命健康，经过深思熟虑，理大中华文化艺术坊作为第十四届理大新春慈善庆典《属•悉》的主办方决定取消第十四届理大新春慈善庆典《属•悉》。第十四届理大新春慈善庆典《属•悉》虽遗憾地提早宣告终结，却也在大家心中结下更可贵情谊。在这128天里，感谢曾为《属•悉》付出过的您我他。彼此收获的不仅仅是经验与知识，更是在大学里充满温暖的一个家。
曲终人不散，团队势必越挫越勇，为第十五届理大新春慈善庆典创造出另一个高峰！
Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM) is genuinely concerned about the outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and is taking precautions on its potential spread within the campus. Therefore, as the organizer of The USM 14th Chinese New Year Charity Gala Celebration ‘A Familiar Glance’, Chinese Arts and Cultural Secretariat of USM (USM SKKT) has decided to cancel The USM 14th Chinese New Year Charity Gala Celebration ‘A Familiar Glance’. Although it is not our wish that we can’t hand in the most perfect report, we believe that the process of working hand-in-hand will be the biggest harvest. In these 128 days, thank you to each and everyone of you for the efforts and hard work. Thank you for staying strong with us.
We will come back stronger and reach another peak of glory for The USM 15th Chinese New Year Charity Gala Celebration!
